That was already our 3rd day on a chartered yacht. The house we checked into, Villa Serena, consisted of three floors of overstuffed couches, shabby chic country decor in soft pastels, and a balcony overlooking the seaport. It was time. We waded in, walked 100 yards to the edge of the seaport, and splashed an hour away. The opening festivities kicked off in the afternoon sun in the Port of Sukosan.
